Hoover Dam - Water, Concrete, and Light (9:16)
Hoover Dam - Engineering Juxtaposition (2:3)
Hoover Dam - Pressure Conduit (9:16)
Hoover Dam - Power Lineup (3:2)
Structure of Power examines Hoover Dam as a system where geology, water, concrete, and electrical infrastructure converge at monumental scale. Across dam walls, turbines, conduits, bridges, pylons, and transmission corridors, the photographs trace how hydraulic force is redirected into engineered energy within the exposed terrain of the Mojave Desert. The work studies the physical relationship between mass, pressure, structure, and terrain, observing how infrastructure imposes order upon canyon space through scale, repetition, and controlled force.
