Returning to a familiar coast does not mean encountering the same landscape. Along the Cantabrian shore, enduring landmarks offer a reference against which even small changes become perceptible. These photographs arise from that sustained attention: a way of recognizing a place without assuming it is fully known. Between the steadiness of the land and the unsettled presence of the sea, familiarity becomes a means of noticing difference.
