Peña Cabarga - Santander from a Distance (1:10)
Port of Santander - Standing at the Edge of the Quay (1:5.5)
Scales of Santander examines the relationship between territory, bay, and coastline through progressively closer views of the city and its surroundings. Observed from distant overlook, waterfront, and shoreline, the photographs reveal different ways of perceiving the same landscape. Urban fabric, maritime space, open water, and horizon shift in prominence across the sequence, tracing a movement from regional scale to direct experience. The work approaches Santander as both inhabited territory and coastal environment, where geography, human occupation, and the sea remain inseparable.
