Fitz Roy - Forests Beneath the Massif

The mountain's immensity is encountered from a scale that can be inhabited. The forest offers proximity and a sense of connection, even as the massif remains beyond ordinary reach. Neither presence diminishes the other. Together, they establish a relationship in which belonging to the landscape coexists with an awareness of how much lies beyond our grasp.
