03.- American Sublime

American Sublime examines landscapes of the northern American West through forms that have come to embody scale, permanence, and geological power. Mountains, rivers, geysers, eroded terrain, isolated monoliths, and open valleys appear as enduring structures shaped by deep time and elemental forces. Moving between the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, the Badlands, and Devils Tower, the sequence traces a landscape where water, rock, uplift, erosion, and geothermal activity continually reshape the terrain. Presented in black and white, the photographs emphasize structure, atmosphere, and monumentality, approaching the American West as a landscape of enduring physical presence.
