Menorca - Apertures Toward the Sea

An opening can intensify our awareness of what lies beyond it. By restricting the view, the surrounding ground gives the sea a particular presence and direction. The photographs consider this dependence between obstruction and disclosure, where openness is experienced through a boundary and seeing more is not necessarily a matter of removing every limit.
