Stratified Shore studies a layered sea stack through black and white, shifting viewpoints, and the continual movement of water against stone. Across close foregrounds, low horizons, and wider coastal framings, the sequence contrasts polished dark rocks, pitted pale limestone, softened water, and the horizontal mass of the stack. Moving between tactile shoreline detail and distant geological form, the work uses restrained tonal structure to examine how erosion, water, and position alter the reading of a single coastal formation.
