Brihuega - Lavender Rhythms

Repetition gives cultivated ground a rhythm the eye can follow, but living growth prevents that order from becoming purely mechanical. At Brihuega, the relationship between pattern and variation lends the landscape its particular vitality. The photographs attend to this balance, where deliberate organization remains visible within forms that continually exceed exact uniformity.
