12.- Frozen Structures

Snow, rock, water, and ice reduce the landscape to compressed structural relationships where movement becomes minimal and largely implied. Foreground textures gain prominence against distant mountain mass while tonal contrast replaces atmospheric depth. Across the sequence, fractured ice, fixed horizons, and abrupt geological forms establish a landscape governed by tension, balance, and material clarity. The work approaches the Arctic coast as a field of forces held temporarily in winter stillness and restrained light.
